Dictionary of All Sanskrit Terms Found In the Stanzas

This is an enormous study of one of the most difficult books to read on one's own and which should be studied in a class setting. As always, we will engage in discussions to clarify text, symbols and the application of this work into synthesis with Science, Religion and Philosophy. Class is held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Friday.

Each week the current study pages are refreshed to indicate the page and position we are at in the book in which the class is currently engaged. This, however, is no substitution for attendance.

The Secret Doctrine

The first volume is named Cosmogenesis and covers the creation and present status of the universe; the second is Anthropogenesis, an account of the evolution of humankind. Cosmogenesis gives an account of existence from the incomprehensible Absolute One into the Absolute Many; from the Infinite as it unfolds its manifold finites; from the Great Sleep to the Great Awake. This precedes the study of Anthropogenesis because it is the Macro modeling for the Micro. "We are made in His image" means the iteration of the fundamental process. We also find correspondence between ancient eastern wisdom and modern science.

H. P. Blavatsky claimed that its contents had been revealed to her by 'mahatmas' who have retained knowledge of mankind's spiritual history; knowledge that was permissible, in part, to now reveal. The Secret Doctrine is the principal source book for students of Theosophy

This voluminous work is an exegesis, in commentary form, of the ancient Stanzas of Dzyan, a small totally incomprehensible pamphlet from a much larger work, the Kiu Te.
The Kiu Te itself is a fragment of "an old book" which is "So very old ... that antiquarians... (do) not agree on the nature of its fabric."
The "old book" is the source of all the primary religious and occult material of all the most ancient civilizations: Egyptian, Chinese, Persian, Hebrew and others... even the Aryan Indian Vedas which predate all of the former.
